Kelt's Irish Pub is the perfect example of a traditional pub. What I mean by that is a pub rarely has a set menu, aside from the beer selection, and you mainly go there for the good home cooked food and atmosphere. Kelt's offers all of these settings in the quaint town of Altus, Arkansas. If you are ever passing through Altus, we strongly suggest you stop by Kelt's for some great food and a good time.
Even though Kelt's doesn't offer a menu per se, they do have most of the common dishes you would expect from a pub(ie steaks, burgers, salads, etc). The owners Dan and Jan have owned Kelt's for many years and also keep you coming back with a little something Dan calls "The Feature". "The Feature" is a dish that is created daily by Dan. If you are looking to venture out and try something new and unique, then get "The Feature". It is a receipe that is made from scracth everyday and give Kelt's that unique feel and vibe you would expect from a good pub.
A little advice, dont' bring a huge group of people and expect to be sitting together. No chairs or tables will be moved...period! Tables usually seat 4-5 people so traditional families will have no problems getting a table. There are a few other "pub rules" but you will find out what they are when you get there. Overall, this is definitely a funky little place to check out if you are ever in the area.
